Project goals and objectives
A foreign vendor of the SAP accounting and business automation system has announced its departure from the Russian market. The provider stated that the system will no longer be supported in the near future. JSC “Denview Limited” faced a strict deadline to transition to Russian software by May 2023.
The pre-project survey conducted by First.Bit determined the client’s specific need to implement major revisions to the “1C: Alcoholic Beverage Production” module. Also, the “1C: ERP” module required modifications to enable smooth data exchange with the EGAIS system.
Major tasks included:
- Migration from SAP to 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.5.
- Implementation of operational accounting.
- Data exchange with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Routine accounting setup.
- IFRS accounting integration.
- Establishing management accounting with data uploads to the Power BI system.
- Integration with the ELMA document management system.
- Ensuring the exchange of accounting data with EGAIS, including support for imports.
Deployment and Implementation
The implementation of 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.5 as an automated information system for import substitution was an important step in the transformation of the operations. All the historical business processes were fully transferred into the new accounting system, ensuring continuity and efficiency. Product allocation was developed to streamline inventory management. User-optimized interfaces allowed seamless interaction with the alcohol module.
Integration with the ELMA document management system further enhanced operational workflows. Additionally, data exchange was successfully developed with both the existing WMS and a foreign legal entity, ensuring smooth information flow across systems. It took 3 months from the start of the project to launch the system into commercial operation.
